I know this post is a couple days late but it’s still in the beginning of October so it’s all good, right? I thought I would put together a little list of things that I found last month that I can’t get enough of.
Kristin Ess Thickening Spray – I originally got this spray to help my hair keep the curl when I attempt to curl it but I use it almost all the time now even when I’m not curling it. My hair is on the fine side so this spray gives it a little more body and a better hold.
Aldi’s Caramels – I first tasted these at my MOPS table meeting when someone brought them to our wine tasting and every since then I’ve been obsessed and at only $3 it’s hard not to be. I really need to stop getting them because I eat way too many in one day. I will say that they pair very nicely with Aldi’s $3 wine.
Fun Cheap or Free – It’s a blog and youtube channel hosted by Jordan Page and it’s all about saving money. I had watched a couple of her videos before last month but in September I half participated in Shelftemper – an idea she purposed that you only shop for fresh items for the whole month and cook out of your pantry and use what you have. I will post more about my experience with Shelftemper and Stocktober later but it really has changed the way that I cook and grocery shop. She also gives advice on all sorts of money and lifestyle topics.
SheProvesFaithful Podcast – I found this podcast through a friend when she posted something on her Instagram and since I’m always looking for a new podcast I thought I would give it a try. She covers a wide range of religious topics and gives great advice on how to improve your own relationship with God.
Pantry Check – This is an app that I found during Shelftember. It keeps track of everything in your pantry including your fridge and freezer. All you have to do is scan the barcode and puts it in a category so you can find it easily later. You can also put in the expiration date if you like. This app has made my meal planning so easy because I don’t have to get up to see if I have black beans, all I have to do is check my app.
Huggies Clutch ‘n’ Clean – One morning I loaded J and N into the van to head off to preschool and we were running a little late when I noticed that J still had his breakfast all over his face. So I had to reach over to the other side of the van for the diaper bag, pull out diaper and wipes and clean off his face. A pretty big inconvenience when you are already running a little behind. So the next time I was at the store I grabbed the Huggies Clutch ‘n’ clean and I don’t know what took me so long. I hang it off the headrest of the passenger seat. It’s the perfect thing for a quick clean up.
The Giveaway!!! I decided to gather a few of my items and pass them along to one of my readers. The giveaway includes the Kristin Ess Hair Thickening Spray, Huggies Clutch ‘n’ Clean and Aldi’s Caramels. This giveaway will run until October 13th.
